Spoiler at the very end of review.....So, I'm an avid reader but supremely lazy when it comes to writing reviews! I had to for this one. Release Me tells Donovan's side of his relationship with Claire. We all knew she was crazy but now we know how crazy she really was/is. My stomach was in knots the whole time I was reading! For me, that's the sign of a great book. I mean I knew how it ended but still, AC was able to get me all worked up. Poor Donovan. We now know how abusive Claire was and the screwed up thought processes that kept him in her grasp! Men can be victims of domestic abuse and Donovan was a victim. Thank goodness he was finally able to break the cycle of abuse and get free. I look forward to the next book in the saga now that Claire has been released from prison.Product details

I love Donovan but Claire is a crazy bitch. It's sad that someone can have that much control over someone else. Thankfully Donovan is a stronger man now after being with. Looking forward to the conclusion of the Callahan Series.
I can't believe what a wimp this dude was so this if definitely going to change my outlook on the next part of the series. If he was that whipped how will he and Allies' s relationship survive can't wait for the next installment.
This book is not what I thought it was going to be. I usually read romance with action included in it. But I enjoyed it more than I thought. The book was about something in today's New. Very interesting.
I have read all three books, and I can,t wait to read the next book, I will be waiting for it to come out. It's such a touching story . You really feel bad for the characters, and just h opp e everything turns out a l right for them.
It was good to get Donovan's story out there so as to set you up to continue with the rest of his and Allie's.
His was a little like another I've read but also very much different, especially the violence.
I am ready to move on to the rest of their story.
I purchased 3 first then found that is was the 3rd in the series and purchased the other 2. Thought book one was great it was like a potato chip and I could wait to get into 2. Almost figured out how it was going to unravel. Book 3 is just expanding on what we knew was done to Donovan.
Ughh!! I love the story, it's not boring.
I love how the author made Claire intimidating and of course evil!!
The author brought the characters to life really well. I love how she made each character unique and how she made you get attached to them.
There was a time that I wish I can choke Claire to death, she really pisses me off..
I was happy how the story ends!! Gah!! It's so worth to read and time!!
